Why I don’t do Authoritative links!

Authoritative Links What those?

Authoritative links are basically people who are always linking to popular links for example:   Digitimes rumored that their will be a 99$ version of the Google Nexus 7 [Affiliate Link].  I don’t know if I believe that or not but that got so popular in the last few days because everyone was linking to that one article on the internet.  It got so High in the Google Rankings for several days, that most people just  believe it to be true.  It could be true or it could just be rumor but everyone is wanting this so bad that if it doesn’t happen people will be disappointed.

Not to say Authoritative Links are bad!

I am not going to say that all those types of links are going to be bad but that doesn’t mean that I will believe some of these types of rumors but I am one of those that wants to wait and see and not expect or anticipate that there will be one.   That is just asking for a let down when or if that product or claim is let out of the bag.

Why I don’t do these types links should be obvious!

I probably have talked about it in this post but I prefer to make it really clear why I don’t do these links every post.  I want to have original content and not just look like I am restating what others are already saying about a subject or product.  If you are looking to find other blogs that agree with a rumor than you have no problem with that.   I however want to talk about what is near and dear to my heart.  Usually I don’t even read what people are saying about rumors.  So I try to steer clear of those types of post.

I do sometimes use those when I think it is necessary!

Just like this post, I do use them only when I think it is necessary and not just to get people to come and share these with others.  That is usually why every authoritative blog does that sort of thing so people will share it with their friends and family and they get more readers and more revenue.

What are your thoughts about this?

Do you want more authoritative links or are you happy with the blog as it is right now.  I’d love to hear your comments about this and others suggest.  You can always reach from the Contact me page or you could also leave a comment and I’ll see it.  Got something you want me to talk about please feel free to drop me a line and let me know!

LG to Revive in Smartphone Market with LG Optimus G

LG and Qualcomm together manifested the new LG Optimus G an Android based smartphone at the press event the day after it was disclosed. LG Optimus G holds great significance for both LG and Qualcomm as they need a strong player to establish themselves into the smartphone market again. LG and Qualcomm had been partners for over 16 years and they both were the first to launch CDMA phone as well as a broadcast mobile TV.

When it comes to design LG Optimus definitely has got the looks. As the time is passing by devices are getting less heavier and slimmer and same thing goes the Optimus G. It weighs only 5.1 ounces and measures at around 5.19 by 2.71 by 0.33 inches, pretty thin. It is really amazing to see Optimus G so light despite having huge 4.7 inch 720p display along with massive 2100mAh battery. It is still a big handset for a size but it sits comfortable in your hand without feeling any annoyance.

Display looked quite good with nice bright and clear colors in the presentation room. Screen is made up of glass whereas rest of the device is made up of plastic. One the back panel you will find pattern bearing resemblance to that of diamond. Due to its plastic build it does not give you a premium feel but same can be said about Samsung Galaxy S III [Affiliate Link].

It is real deal; LG Optimus G is packed with Qualcomm Snapdrapgon S4 processor along with 2gigs of RAM. Under the hood it has quad core Krait 1.5GHz CPU and it also supports third generation 4G LTE. Running on Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 we found no lag whatsoever, it was smooth and fast, swiping between different home screens and launching applications was pretty smooth and we hope to see Android Jelly Bean 4.1 update coming to Optimus G as well.

LG Optimus G is great for office work as well. It allows you to take screenshots of different Web pages and then email it to your colleagues or clients. Presentations look much better with Optimus G, during your presentation you can see the thumbnail of slides to come apart from that you can also preview things on the phone without letting audience know about it on TV. These tweaks might sound trivial but they are of noticeable significance while giving a presentation.

On the back the device sports huge 13 megapixel camera and what makes its camera even better is the Cheese Shutter which responds to you saying ‘cheese’ and instantly takes picture. Out of the box, the camera captures five photos simultaneously so that you could choose the best get rid of the rest. Although, we didn’t get to see all this ourselves but we hope to see better picture quality than that of LG Intuition which had an 8 megapixel camera but it was no way near Apple or Samsung standards.

LG Optimus G seems to be promising device and we will be seeing it somewhere in the Q4 this year. As for the pricing, you will need to wait for the phone to release.
